Responding to Bugs

Software engineering would be really fun if it weren’t for all the bugs you wind up having to fix! There isn’t much more frustrating than finding a bug that’s hard to explain, and it usually leads to this sequence

1. “Why is this broken? It should work.”
2. “Oh, this is broken and it shouldn’t work in this specific case.”
